The Mesa County Workforce Center has released year end numbers.
During 2017 the Mesa County Workforce helped individuals in obtaining close to 3,000 new jobs.
Mesa County leads the state’s Work Ready Community Initiative by being the first County in the State to become a Certified Work Ready Community.
Employers posted 7653 job orders equaling nearly 12,250 job openings available in Mesa County during the reporting period of January 1, 2017-December 31, 2017.
According to the Mesa County Workforce Director, Curtis Englehart “We are dedicated to connecting job seekers with employers and I think the 2017 numbers prove we have been successful in making those connections.”
