Mesa County Workforce Center & City of Grand Junction Host Info Session on Public Safety Careers

Mesa County- The Mesa County Workforce Center and the City of Grand Junction are teaming up to meet the need for public safety professionals in the Grand Junction area. Representatives from Colorado Mesa University and Western Colorado Community College will also be there to provide information on education related to this field.

The Public Safety Open House and Info Session will be Wednesday, November 15 from 6:30-7:30pm at the Mesa County Workforce Center.

The public is invited to attend to learn from the true professionals on how to start a rewarding career in public safety.

The Open House/Info Session will be available on SKYPE starting at 6:45pm for those who cannot attend in-person. “Check the City’s public safety recruiting page, www.redorblue4u.com, for the link to the Skype session.”

Open positions include firefighter, firefighter/paramedic, 911 call taker and police officer.
A hiring event will be on the following day Thursday, November 16, from 9am-1pm also at the Mesa County Workforce Center.
